Lux VIP Charters – Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking chauffeur services with Lux VIP Charters Perth. By confirming a reservation and using our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following terms.


1. Bookings & Reservations

  • a. All bookings are subject to vehicle and chauffeur availability at the time of confirmation.
  • b. A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit has been received.
  • c. Accurate details including pickup time, location, passenger count, luggage requirements, and special requests must be provided at the time of booking.
  • d. Amendments must be requested at least 48 hours before your booking time and are subject to availability.
  • e. Special-event, VIP, or high-profile bookings may require additional conditions or security measures.

2. Deposits

  • a. A $100 deposit is required to secure and lock in your booking.
  • b. A booking is not confirmed until this deposit is received.
  • c. Deposits are fully refundable until 7 days prior to your booking date.
  • d. If you cancel within 7 days of your booking, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
  • e. The remaining balance is typically due 7 days prior to your booking date unless otherwise arranged in writing.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • a. Pricing is determined based on the itinerary, service duration, vehicle type, timing, and any special requirements.
  • b. Prices may include standard tolls, GST, and basic parking fees unless stated otherwise.
  • c. Additional fees may apply for:
    • Extra stops
    • Extended waiting time
    • Late-night surcharges
    • Excessive cleaning or damage
  • d. Full payment must be made by the invoice due date to avoid cancellation.

4. Waiting Time Policy

Standard Chauffeur Transfers

  • 10 minutes complimentary waiting time from your scheduled pickup time.
  • After 10 minutes, waiting time is charged in accordance with the hourly rate of the booked vehicle.

Airport Arrivals

Lux VIP Charters monitors all flight arrival times.

  • Domestic flights: 30 minutes complimentary waiting time after actual landing.
  • International flights: 60 minutes complimentary waiting time after actual landing.

After these complimentary periods, waiting-time charges apply.

Flight Delays Affecting Subsequent Bookings

If your flight delay becomes significant enough that it conflicts with another confirmed booking, Lux VIP Charters reserves the right to:

  • Terminate the service, and
  • Retain all payments made, including deposit and booking fees.

This is due to the delay being caused by circumstances outside our control (airline or airport operations), and may prevent us from attending other scheduled clients.

Operational Delays

Lux VIP Charters is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, or any events outside our control. We will always take reasonable measures to minimise disruptions.


5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • a. All cancellations must be made in writing via SMS or email.
  • b. Cancellation fees:
    • More than 48 hours’ notice (outside the refundable-deposit period): refund of any paid amounts excluding the deposit if cancelled within 7 days.
    • Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the booking cost.
    • Less than 24 hours’ notice: 100% of the booking cost.
  • c. If Lux VIP Charters must cancel due to emergencies, mechanical issues, safety concerns, or force majeure, an alternative vehicle or full refund will be offered.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • a. Passengers must be ready at the scheduled pickup time to avoid waiting-time charges.
  • b. Passenger behaviour must remain respectful. Misconduct resulting in damage, cleaning fees, or safety concerns will be charged to the client.
  • c. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
  • d. Child restraints must be pre-booked where required by law.
  • e. Clients must ensure luggage quantities and sizes are suitable for the booked vehicle.

7. No-Shows

  • a. Failure to arrive at the pickup location without prior notice will be treated as a no-show.
  • b. No-shows are non-refundable and will incur 100% of the booking cost.

8. Social Media & Marketing Use

  • a. Lux VIP Charters may capture general photos or videos of vehicles in operation for marketing purposes.
  • b. No imagery will display passengers’ faces or personal information unless permission is granted.
  • c. If you do not wish any imagery involving your booking to be used, you must inform us in writing prior to the service.

9. Liability

  • a. Lux VIP Charters takes all reasonable measures to ensure a safe, professional, and high-quality experience.
  • b. We are not liable for loss, injury, damage, inconvenience, or delays caused by events outside our control.
  • c. Clients are encouraged to obtain their own travel or event insurance if required.

10. Amendments & Right of Refusal

  • a. Lux VIP Charters may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will apply to all bookings.
  • b. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if a passenger behaves in an unsafe, aggressive, or non-compliant manner.
  • c. Services may also be terminated if payment terms are not met.

11. Vehicle Care & Professional Standards

  • a. All vehicles are meticulously cleaned, detailed, and maintained.
  • b. Any damage or excessive cleaning resulting from passenger actions will be charged at the repair or cleaning cost.
  • c. Lux VIP Charters chauffeurs maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality — including for VIP, celebrity, and high-profile clients.
